Beyond All Dreams is the first novel I’ve read by Elizabeth Camden. I can say that I really enjoyed this book. It seems to have it all: mystery, romance, politics, and family drama just to name a few. The novel is about the unique relationship between Anna O’Brien, a map librarian at the Library of Congress, and Luke Callahan, a congressman. Their story is one of opposites attracting. She’s shy and hates to be the center of attention while he is outgoing and doesn’t mind being the life of the party. They are brought together though her need of his help to solve a mystery of a sunken ship and his need of her research help. The novel is full of plot twists that leave you feeling sad and then happy for the characters. I find myself wondering if we’ll get to see these characters again in another novel. I sure hope so. I recommend it to anyone who loves historical romances.
I received this book for free from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review. I was not obligated to write a postive review.
